WHO WE ARE
Schott International Consulting focus on Strategic Communications and was founded on the premise to facilitate cross-cultural and political communication in The Americas to turn risks into opportunities. A multicultural society means to be exposed to new ways of doing things and fresh ways of looking at things because multiculturalism promotes the exchange of ideas that can lead to expansion for business and more prosperous working relationships but there is also a real risk of communication getting lost in translation.
We are in the heart of Washington DC and our goal is to bridge the gap between international politics and the media in The Americas because we believe an effective communication strategy forge clear goals and leads to success by framing and constructing a narrative.

Management Profile
My name is Sonia Schott and I have been in Washington for more than 20 years managing news content for international outlets on US-Latin American relations. Since 2015 I am combining the journalistic approach with geopolitical analysis to advise as Content and Communications Strategist for Schott International Consulting. I grew up in a multicultural environment and I also had the opportunity to live in many countries around the world which helped me develop strong connections thanks to a better understanding of different cultures and changing realities. I hold a degree in Social Communications Sciences and a master’s degree in law and international Relations. I was also a Hanns Seidel Foundation Scholarship recipient at the Institute of High Political Studies in Munich, Germany.
